***Generally, I have become really irritated and unamused by the kind of Vice-like, corrupted youth-inspired style that many young and hip photographers seem to be embracing, over-using, and abusing. It has become so exhausted, trite, and replicated that it is no longer cool or even shocking anymore. all the vulgarity is has desensitized everyone. Anyway, I think that Petrick (who is probably most well known for her series "Femme Fatales," with Petra Collins) is actually pretty talented and takes really interesting photos in terms of composition, skill, style, and theme.
